Job summary

Magna Cosma International in Moonville, SC seeks a Press Operator to support shift production and ensure quality standards. You will oversee line directions, align associates, and complete required paperwork and traces.

The role requires 1 year of press experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to operate across multiple plant locations. We offer health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with match, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, and onsite amenities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year prior metal working and press experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mathematical, analytical and organizational skills.
• Able to work in various locations within and outside the plant.
• Six months to one year experience as press operator (preferred).
• SAP knowledge (preferred).
• Tool & Die, Electrician or millwright certificate (preferred).
• Must hold or attain a forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Gives directions and align associates on the shift to ensure full utilization.
• Ensures press schedule is met and notifies when issues arise.
• Organizes activities to conform to quality standards per company/customer requirements.
• Completes paperwork and inputs: shift summary, downtime, lot traceability, crane checks, setup sheets, QID sheets, etc.
