Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical skills/aptitude are required.
• Basic math skills to read ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization.
• Ability to operate equipment to meet production standards.
• Ability to understand verbal and written work orders and communicate professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in logs and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed instructions from job orders and correct errors.
• Set up/adjust press for job runs to meet specifications.
• Monitor product quality and adjust as needed to match specifications.
• Monitor equipment for mechanical issues and refer to maintenance when needed.
• Initiate startup and run jobs per production schedule.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Meet standards for output, waste, and spoilage.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep workspace clean for shift changes.
• Complete with accuracy related logs and paperwork.
