Job summary

USA TODAY Co., Inc. is seeking a Press Operator I for its Gastonia, NC facility. This role learns and performs printing tasks on the Goss Magnum Newspaper Web Press, including reel setup, plate processing, ink setting and basic maintenance. You will work as part of a press crew to maintain on-time production and quality standards.

The job requires a high school diploma or GED, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50–60 pounds. Night shifts, weekends, and holidays are on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in web offset printing desirable.
• Mechanical ability and familiarity with computers preferred.
• Ability to adapt to change and work with others on a press crew.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform printing-related tasks on the Goss Magnum Newspaper Web Press.
