Job summary

ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging, is hiring a full-time Press Operator in New York. You will safely set up, operate, and monitor press machinery, ensure safety and quality, and work with teams to meet production goals.

The role requires HS/GED and 2–4 years of related experience; you will train new crew, perform routine maintenance, and help keep the line and area clean. Compensation is $25.85 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred.
• 2-4 years' experience in a related field.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery to meet goals.
• Completes machine setup for production runs, loads materials, adjusts settings.
• Monitors production, inspects materials, ensures quality and quotas.
• Verifies materials for inventory and work-in-progress.
• Troubleshoots equipment and performs routine maintenance.
• Trains crew members and maintains clean, organized work areas.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and uses PPE.
