MCC, a global leader in premium labels, seeks a Press Assistant in Provo, UT to support printing press setup and operations per customer specs. The role emphasizes accuracy in ticket interpretation, color/color tests, and teamwork.

Ideal candidates will read job tickets, measure with rulers, pass eye and color tests, and lift up to 50 pounds. 1st shift is 6am–2pm, with a generous benefits package and holidays.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Print shop experience helpful, but not required.
• Ability to communicate and interact well with others (verbally and written); team player.
• Ability to read and understand a job ticket; read a ruler and understand measurements; pass ruler and eye tests.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

We are currently looking for aPress Assistant to join our team. The Press Assistant role is responsible for the set up and support of printing presses in accordance with the printing specifications and customer requirements/expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Print shop experience helpful, but not required
• Ability to communicate and interact well with others (verbally and written form); seen as a team player
• Ability to read and understand a job ticket
• Ability to read a ruler and understand measurements (able to pass a ruler test)
• Ability correctable to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test)
• Ability to differentiate colors (able to pass a color test)
• Ability to input data in the computer
• Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on-time completion of assigned activities
• Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions
• Ability to stand and move around press area for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
