Job summary

T-Shirt Tycoon Solutions Inc in Garland, TX is seeking a Press Operator to set up and operate a multi-color automatic screen-printing press, run the DMI, and adjust printing to maintain print quality, registration, color, and production speed.

Job Summary

The Press Operator will have a good understanding of inks, solvents, and can print line, halftone, and four-color copy on a variety of substrates.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Checking CD/PDF and Job Ticket to verify quantities, garment colors, overrun tolerance, color sequence, substrate
• Setting up and operating the press
• Setting dryers to properly dry and/or cure inks
• Printing the job while maintaining optimum production speed and making press adjustments, as needed, to maintain print quality, registration, and color
• Operates the DMI
• Logs the reason codes when the press stops
• Following the company policies, procedures, safety instructions, and applicable laws
• Maintaining a clean workstation and press area

Experience & Education

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1-3 years of related experience and/or training
• Combination of education and experience
• Good judgement of color, design, and print quality

Skills
