Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Sumter, SC is hiring a Press Operator to set up and operate lightweight to medium presses, reading blueprints and gauges to maintain product quality. You will perform manual operations where needed and escalate issues to the Team Lead to keep production running smoothly.

Day shift is M-TH 6:00am–4:00pm with overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits from day one. Local applicants preferred in the Sumter area.

Qualifications

• Interpret blueprints for assembly operations.
• Read gauges and ensure product quality.
• Escalate production issues to the Team Lead.

Summary Pay Range

$19.40 - $25.20
