Shift: 3rd Shift 11pm-7am

Summary:

Responsible for inserting a rubber preform (uncured rubber) into a press, removing the hot cured rubber, and hand trimming waste. The role includes the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and understand production schedules, using a computer interface to record production data.
• Perform critical quality checks and accurately measure specifications.
• Insert and remove rubber weighing approximately 15 pounds into a press operating at 300°F.
• Trim and hand stack cured tiles; perform quality checks before and after curing.
• Communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and rotate with other operators such as the Waterjet Operator, Tile Punch Press Operator, and Refining Mill.
• Overtime may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
