Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows in Sharon, MA, is hiring for a manufacturing role focusing on producing high-quality metal bellows. You will set up and operate large hydraulic and mechanical presses, work with exotic materials, and perform in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Training is provided for rubber-to-metal stamping, and strong attention to detail along with basic computer skills are required. The role is on-site in Sharon with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing or quality experience preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints, route sheets, and instructions to produce high-quality components.
• Set up and run hydraulic and mechanical presses (150 to 1,200 tons).
• Perform rubber-to-metal stamping (training provided).
• Use materials such as Inconel, AM350, titanium strip stock (.001" to .008").
• Conduct in-process inspections per ES Specifications and adjust setups as needed.
• Verify product quality with SPC and precision measuring tools.

Job Description

What You'll Do

Work from blueprints, route sheets, and written instructions to produce high-quality components, demonstrating strong attention to detail in every step of the process.

Set up and run hydraulic and mechanical presses ranging from 150 tons to 1,200 tons, ensuring safe and precise operation.

Perform rubber-to-metal stamping (experience preferred but not required; training provided) to the right candidate.

Work with various materials, including Inconel (Inco), AM350, and titanium strip stock with thicknesses ranging from .001" to .008", maintaining accuracy and consistency.

Perform set-ups (or request assistance for complex set-ups) and conduct in-process inspections per ES Specifications to ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality requirements. Maintain set-ups and make minor adjustments as needed, escalating unusual issues to the supervisor.

Verify product quality using quantitative charting methods such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and a range of precision measuring tools, including contour readers and non-contact measuring systems, with meticulous attention to detail.

Use basic computer skills to perform labor transactions and other required system functions with accuracy and completeness

Hourly Rate Range: $ 22.00 - $24.00 per hour. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
