Job summary

RPI Print is seeking a skilled Digital Press Operator to set up and run Canon iX 3200 and HP presses, producing high-quality books and card products. The role includes basic bindery duties, overtime, and weekend shifts during peak seasons. A strong mechanical aptitude and safety mindset are essential.

The role is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential weekend hours during peak periods. Experience in print manufacturing and a HS diploma are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Canon iX 3200, HP Series 3 and 4 digital presses.
• Operate casing-in and finishing equipment as assigned.
• Ensure orders are produced on time and to spec.
• Maintain high output without compromising quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Keep machines and work area clean and safe (5S).
• Follow daily production plans from supervisors.
• Assist in training newer operators.
• Take on additional equipment responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Digital Press Operator

Compensation:

$20.00 - $25.00/hour (based on experience). FLSA non-exempt.

Schedules:

Monday - Friday, A shift. Peak season scheduling requires weekend hours.

Summary

RPI, a global leader in print-on-demand, is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Canon iX 3200 inkjet, HP Series 3 and 4 presses to produce high-quality, high-output books and card products. This full-time role also includes general bindery duties as needed and requires flexibility in work hours, including overtime and weekend shifts during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Canon iX 3200, HP Series 3 and 4 digital presses.
• Operate casing-in devices and other finishing equipment as assigned.
• Ensure orders are produced accurately and within established production timelines.
• Maintain high output without compromising product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Keep machines and work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and 5S standards.
• Follow daily production plans provided by supervisors.
• Assist in training new or less experienced operators.
• Take on additional equipment responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing and print equipment.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in print manufacturing operations is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
