HUS Heidelberg USA, Inc. is seeking a Press Instructor to educate customers on the operation of Heidelberg sheetfed presses, color measuring devices, and peripherals to ensure the equipment functions as designed with optimal customer satisfaction.

You will travel extensively (67–100%), ideally residing in the Eastern US near a major airport, and bring 3–5 years of related experience. The role involves training, commissioning presses, troubleshooting, color management, and promoting Heidelberg

Overview: The Heidelberg Press Instructor educates customers on the operation of sheetfed presses, color measuring devices and peripherals to ensure the equipment functions as designed with optimal customer satisfaction.

• Train and instruct customers on all Heidelberg sheetfed products.
• Commission and provide instruction on press installations.
• Manage print color and optimize makeready processes.
• Efficiently troubleshoot all print application service calls.
• Communicate professionally with customers at all levels regarding Heidelberg products and productivity gains.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry print applications and the latest software innovations.
• Promote Heidelberg Performance Services, including training, consulting, software, and consumables.

• Assist with onsite productivity evaluations for customers.

Qualifications

• Continued travel (67–100% of time), ideally residing in the Eastern US—Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or New York—within an hour’s drive of a major airport.
• 3–5 years of job‑related experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS, networking, and MS Office Suite.
• Self‑starter who can take on difficult problems and resolve them.
• Comfortable and confident speaker capable of communicating with a broad audience.
• Ability to manage multiple high‑priority action items.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Proficient with job‑related testing equipment and calibration.
• Ability to follow detailed service‑manual instructions for repairs and instruction.
• Basic hand‑tool skills.

Location: Pennsylvania, NewJersey, or NewYork

Pay Range: 65K – 75K
