Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation MCC in Kentucky is seeking an experienced flexo press operator to join our manufacturing team. You will run printing presses, ensure quality, and follow job tickets and specifications to produce premium labels with efficiency and safety in mind.

The role offers a starting pay of $25–$32 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package, paid holidays, and opportunities for advancement within a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years as a flexo printing press operator.
• Embellishment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
• Complete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.
• Responsible for completing all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks. Complete all press-side quality checks.
• Operate press to produce product in accordance with customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
• Maintain consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks include copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checks.
• Responsible for completing all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
• Complete press make-readies in an efficient manner.
• Complete all required equipment maintenance duties.
• Clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricate press as needed.
• Input all required information into the Radius system for material usage and time accurately and promptly.
