Northern Air Systems Inc in Rochester, NY is seeking a Press Brake Operator / Metal Fabricator to set up and operate press brakes and related equipment. You will form, bend, and fabricate sheet metal components according to blueprints and production specifications.

The role requires 2–4 years of manufacturing or metal fabrication experience and familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints. You will maintain quality, safety, and productivity while documenting work and supporting a

Qualifications

Two to four years of manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred.
Experience operating press brakes and reading blueprints preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Responsabilités

Set up and operate press brakes to bend and form sheet metal components per blueprints and specs.
Select tooling, dies, and punches based on material, thickness, and bend requirements.
Review blueprints and work instructions to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances.
Measure and align sheet metal to ensure precise forming.
Maintain quality by inspecting parts with gauges and measuring tools.
Document production records and report material or equipment issues.
Operate auxiliary fabricating equipment (shears, rolls, drills) as trained.
Follow safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
