Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings is required.
• Forklift operator and crane operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves and reviews production orders.
• Operates forklift to remove sheet metal from shelves.
• Adjust machines to accurate dimensions and positions metal.
• Shapes and bends small cut pieces as required.
• Records number of pieces fabricated on production sheet.
• Operates crane’s hand controls to transfer loads.
