Job summary

NXG Truck Bodies, headquartered in Mount Pleasant, TX, is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators to bend and form steel components used in our truck bodies. This role requires precision, consistency, and attention to detail to ensure all parts meet NXG’s strict quality and dimensional standards.

You will set up, program, and operate press brakes, read blueprints, verify dimensions, and collaborate with fabrication teams to meet production goals while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Understanding of metal bending processes and tolerances.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver sheet metal materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate press brake machines to form sheet metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, bend instructions, and part drawings.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve correct bend angles and dimensions.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy using measurement tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on press brake equipment.
• Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production goals and maintain workflow.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
