Starting pay is $22 per hour, on-site only, with opportunities to advance based on performance. You'll work with metal fabrication tasks, deburring, alignment, and helping assemble components as needed.

Responsibilities

Press Brake OperatorRobesonia, PA | Full-Time | On-Site | Starting at $22 per hourReading Bakery Systems is seeking a reliable and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Robesonia. This is a hands-on position responsible for producing precision sheet-metal components used in the industrial bakery equipment and processing systems we manufacture.The right person will be comfortable setting up and operating press brake equipment, reading technical drawings and checking completed parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.What You’ll DoSet up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, bills of materials and flat layouts.Inspect completed parts using measuring tools, gauges and other inspection equipment.Make machine adjustments as needed to produce accurate, functional components.Perform deburring, alignment and other finishing work using hand and power tools.Assist with the assembly of components and subassemblies as needed.Maintain production and quality records while minimizing material waste.Keep the work area clean and organized and follow all company safety procedures.What You’ll BringAt least one year of manufacturing or metal-fabrication experience; two or more years of direct press brake experience preferred.Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.Experience using measuring tools and inspecting fabricated parts.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to quality.Ability to work independently, manage priorities and solve routine production issues.A dependable, safety-conscious and team-oriented approach.Physical RequirementsPerform hands-on work that involves standing, bending and reaching throughout the workday.Safely handle sheet metal, parts and materials and operate production equipment, hand tools and measuring instruments.Follow established safety procedures and wear all required personal protective equipment.
