Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Neosho is seeking dependable Press Assistants to support a local printing operations team. You will assist the Press Operator, help with make-ready procedures, and move materials to and from the press, while ensuring safety and quality.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, maintaining a clean work area, and following production schedules in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, printing, or machine operation preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move materials during the shift.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Press Operator with daily printing operations.
• Support make-ready procedures, including plate, ink, and blanket changes.
• Load and transport board and materials to and from the printing press.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on press equipment.
• Monitor print quality and assist with quality control checks.
• Properly handle and dispose of printing waste materials.
• Maintain inventory and restock pressroom supplies as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow production schedules and safety procedures.
