Job summary

Team Outsider is seeking a Groundskeeping & Maintenance Team Member to maintain the campground and outdoor spaces, focusing on landscaping and general upkeep. You’ll help ensure guest areas are welcoming and well-maintained, working outdoors in a fast-growing outdoor hospitality environment.

The role requires a passion for outdoor spaces, the ability to work independently or with a team, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Landscaping & Groundskeeping: mow lawns, trim weeds, rake leaves, water plants, keep outdoor areas well-kept.
• Maintain Common Areas: campsites, trails, and public spaces clean and guest-ready.
• Assist with Light Maintenance: basic facility upkeep, painting, minor repairs.
• Waste & Debris Management: empty trash, manage recycling, keep outdoor areas clean.
• Pool & Recreation Area Upkeep: ensure outdoor amenities are clean and safe.
• Operate & Maintain Equipment: use landscaping tools safely and effectively.
• Guest Service: greet guests and assist with grounds-related needs.

About the Role:

As a Groundskeeping & Maintenance Team Member , you’ll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the campground’s outdoor spaces. Your primary focus will be landscaping, groundskeeping, and maintaining green spaces , while also assisting with general maintenance tasks to keep the campground running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Landscaping & Groundskeeping: Mow lawns, trim weeds, rake leaves, water plants, and ensure outdoor areas are well-kept.
• Maintain Common Areas: Keep campsites, trails, and public spaces clean, clear, and guest-ready.
• Assist with Light Maintenance: Perform basic facility upkeep such as painting, minor repairs, and general handyman tasks.
• Waste & Debris Management: Empty trash bins, manage composting/recycling, and maintain a clean outdoor environment.
• Pool & Recreation Area Upkeep: Ensure pool, playgrounds, and other outdoor amenities are clean and safe.
• Operate & Maintain Equipment: Use landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Guest Service: Greet guests with a friendly attitude and assist with any grounds-related needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for outdoor hospitality and groundskeeping.
• Experience or familiarity with landscaping tools, lawn care, and outdoor maintenance .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
• A valid Driver’s License .
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Comfortable bending, kneeling, stooping, and working in various weather conditions .
• Ability to safely operate lawn care equipment and maintenance tools .
