Job summary

A federal law enforcement agency is looking for dedicated individuals to provide protection for key government locations, including The White House and embassies in Washington, D.C. Applicants must be courageous, intelligent, and determined. The role requires completing intensive training and the ability to carry a firearm. Candidates must meet specific age, citizenship, and health requirements, including drug testing. This position includes a relocation requirement to Washington, D.C., and may offer a substantial recruitment incentive.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be 21 years old and under 40 at the time of application.
• Must possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must carry and use a firearm, maintaining firearm proficiency.
• Must pass a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing.
• Must complete 12 weeks of intensive training at FLETC.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection for important government buildings and officials.
• Travel for Presidential, Vice Presidential, and state missions.
• Enforce protective responsibilities as described under federal law.
