Overview

The President/CEO is the chief executive of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce and reports to the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include executive leadership, advocacy and public policy, member growth and engagement, revenue diversification, financial stewardship of a $3.9M budget, and oversight of the Hispano Chamber Foundation 501(c)(3) and Convention & Tourism division.

Responsibilities

• Lead a senior team and approximately 25 staff.
• Champion international trade and Latin American partnerships.
• Serve as the primary public representative across business, civic, government, and community sectors.
• Drive strategic vision, organizational modernization, and disciplined execution.
• Partner with the Board on governance, planning, and long-term sustainability of the Chamber.
• Execute executive leadership, advocacy and public policy, member growth and engagement, revenue diversification, and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education, executive leadership experience, and demonstrated success in a comparable environment.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive executive leadership with multi-million-dollar P&L accountability and diversified revenue generation.
