Job summary

SOCCER SHOTS BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON is seeking dependable part-time coaches to lead 30–45 minute sessions at local sites. Coaches travel within a 30–40 minute radius and help deliver an age-appropriate curriculum, promoting skill development and fun for young children.

Ideal candidates are passionate, punctual, and patient, with a high-energy, kid-friendly personality. Training is provided, and schedules are set weekly for the season.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background check clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle; travel between sites.
• Experience with children ages 18 months to 8 years preferred.
• Prior soccer experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead 30–45 minute sessions at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers.
• Travel within a 30–40 minute radius for coaching assignments.

WHO IS SOCCER SHOTS?

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program for ages 18 months to 8 years old. We provide an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building and fun themes to help coaches teach young children the wonderful sport of soccer. Our goal is simple: To leave a lasting, positive impact on every child, and family, we serve!

THE JOB:

Looking for part-time work where you can make a positive impact in your community? Become a Soccer Shots Coach! We are seeking dependable coaches to lead 30–45 minute sessions at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers. Coaches will be asked to travel within a 30–40 minute radius for coaching assignments. You’ll laugh, you’ll break a sweat, and you’ll go home knowing that you made a difference. Coaching children will be one of the most rewarding jobs you'll ever do!

REQUIREMENTS:

Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle that is insured (travel required between sites)
• Prior soccer experience is not required, however experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred

AVAILABILITY:

To be considered, coaches should be available during the upcoming Fall & Winter Seasons (September-December) within the following timeframes:

• Weekday mornings: 8:30 AM – 12:45 PM (NEEDED)
• Weekday afternoons: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM (NEEDED)
• Weekday evenings: 4:45 PM – 7:00 PM (limited shifts available)
• Weekend mornings: 8:30 AM – 12:45 PM (limited shifts available)

These are not shifts or set work hours, but the time windows in which sessions are scheduled. Schedules are assigned and remain consistent weekly throughout the season.
