Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of special education principles, practices, and procedures, including writing IEPs.
• Experience working with students with autism and sensory disorders strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's in Special Education with required certification and working toward TVI certification.
• Knowledge of visual impairment, medical disorders and adaptive technology.
• Familiarity with core and expanded core curriculum and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, review, and evaluation of individualized family service plans.
• Coordinate evaluations and assessments and monitor service delivery.
• Provide parent education and training, including home visits.
• Design learning environments and activities to promote skill development.
• Provide instruction to enhance child development and support families.
