KCDSC in Olney, Philadelphia is seeking a Preschool Assistant Teacher who is creative, patient, and motivated to support young children daily.

You will implement the Creative Curriculum, document learning observations in Teaching Strategy Gold and Procare, and collaborate with families and staff. Full-time or part-time, the role offers growth through professional development and DHS/Keystone compliance.

Qualifications

• Early childhood experience is required; wage determined by experience.
• Full-time or part-time role available.
• Pay ranges $12.50-$16.50 per hour depending on experience.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate preschool curriculum with a consistent schedule.

• Change diapers and interact with children daily.

• Arrive on time and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Input observations in Teaching Strategy Gold using required tools.
• Familiar with Creative Curriculum.
• Be a collaborative team member.
• Participate in professional development training.
• Meet DHS and Keystone stars requirements.

Job Description

We are looking for a Preschool Assistant Teacher who is creative and motivated to help others!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate our preschool curriculum through a consistent schedule

• Maintain the health and welfare of our students

• Communicate effectively with our parents

• Passion working with children/ comfortable sitting on the floor/ Changing diapers and interacting with the children everyday.

• Maintain a child- centered curriculum and learning environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement in learning.

• Ability to address challenging behaviors by observing to determine the possible cause of the behavior.

• observations of children and documenting on Teaching Strategy Gold.

• Documenting daily activities and uploading on procare.

• Arrive on time to work everyday.

• Must be flexible with scheduling.

• Knowledge of basic computer skills; Teaching Strategy Gold (inputting daily observations on TSG)

• Familiar with Creative Curriculum.

• Be supportive of the working environment./Team players.

• Must be willing to take professional development training.

• Must meet all DHS and Keystone stars requirements.
