Job summary

Georgetown Hill Early School is hiring Assistant Teachers for Twos & Threes in Frederick, MD. You will support lead teachers, help create a nurturing classroom, and float between rooms as needed. This role is ideal for someone building experience toward leading a classroom.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years preschool experience, MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Preschool Endorsement, and a team-first attitude with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Preschool experience of 1–3 years is required.
• MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA with Preschool Endorsement (minimum) required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in implementing the P.L.A.N. curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing space where kids feel secure and loved.
• Float between classrooms as needed to support the school.
• Assist with daily tasks to meet each child's needs with patience.
• Maintain positive energy with the team, students, and families.
