Job summary

Primrose School of Eldridge Pkwy in Houston, TX is seeking a Preschool Teacher to create a fun, safe learning environment with a daily schedule that builds confidence and independence in young children.

You’ll guide small group instruction, support potty-training, and foster curiosity through the Balanced Learning® curriculum, partnering with a co-teacher to deliver engaging lessons. A focus on forming relationships and developing early literacy and life skills is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop children’s confidence and independence.
• Help guide these little ones through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.
• You'll also aid students in the potty-training process, so they become fully independent.
• Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.
• Help children learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and more.
• Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the Balanced Learning® curriculum.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
• Help students develop important life skills like using the restroom independently.
