Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center Preschool in Los Gatos, CA is seeking a Full-Time Preschool Teacher to support young children in a nurturing, inclusive environment. The role involves implementing an enriching curriculum, focusing on early development and Jewish culture, with a focus on safety and collaboration with a teaching team.

This position offers a full benefits package and requires 24 ECE/CD units and 175 days of field experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 24 ECE/CD units including core courses.
• 175 days x 3 hours per day of ECE/CD experience within 4 years.
• AA or higher in ECE/CD or related field; 3 units supervised field experience.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and ensure safety of children at all times.
• Plan and implement an enriching curriculum including Jewish culture and holidays.
• Work with co-teacher/associate teacher and keep classroom organized.
• Plan activities supporting children’s learning and group development.
• Conduct two parent/teacher conferences per year per class.
• Attend Back to School Night and Open House.
• Write informative daily emails to parents with day summaries and photos.
• Keep all required paperwork up to date (accidents, reports, plans).
• Communicate with parents professionally and respectfully.
• Represent the preschool positively on campus and off.
