TREEHOUSE LATCHKEY AND CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER is seeking an energetic Teacher to lead a classroom through a full school year, implementing a comprehensive curriculum that supports student growth. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and dedicated to helping children reach their full potential.

You will plan age-appropriate lessons, monitor progress, and collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Preschool Teacher or Assistant Teacher through DCYF Rule 3 guidelines.
• At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Teacher or Teacher.
• Passionate about teaching young minds.
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to adhere to them.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards.
• Encourage development of students’ critical thinking skills.
• Prepare learning materials as needed.
• Take attendance.
• Document students’ learning progress.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment.
