Community Child Care Solutions is seeking an energetic Teacher to lead a cohesive teaching team and coordinate curriculum. You will manage day-to-day classroom operations and ensure a safe, stimulating environment where children engage and succeed.

You will supervise assistants, maintain records, and communicate with parents while upholding policies and state regulations. Our program values developmentally appropriate practices and ongoing professional growth.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare/teaching experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. (Will train.)
• Must clear full background checks and pass health screening.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs, take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, and talk to and hear voices at many levels.
• Specific vision ability including seeing up close and at distance, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Must be able to see and/or hear a child in distress up to 25 feet away.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds repeatedly during the day.
• Must be able to sit on the floor with children and get up quickly; may kneel, bend, squat or crawl.

• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, assessments, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Ensure all school policies and state regulations are met.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
• Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure activities, hygiene, and safety standards are followed.
• Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

The Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns. This position reports to the Preschool Director.

The position will begin inDecember 2026 to shadow current teacher and take over class in January 2027 as teacher. Hours are 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30AM to 12:15PM.

Nice To Have

• Associates Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE, preferred.
