Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ECE degree preferred.
• CDA preferred as an additional credential.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in a licensed setting.
• Has completed state-required pre-service training.
• Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: implement age-appropriate lessons with Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Classroom Management: create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom.
• Family Communication: maintain open, effective communication with families.
• Health and Safety: supervise activities and ensure licensing compliance.
• Professional Development: participate in ongoing training opportunities.
• Assessment and Documentation: observe and document children’s progress.
• Team Collaboration: support Assistant and Resource Teachers.
• Behavior Guidance: model positive guidance strategies.
