Job summary

Cadence Education seeks a dedicated Preschool Teacher in Prior Lake, MN to support daily classroom operations and Cadence programs under the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, addressing developmental needs and following IEPs as directed.

You will collaborate with families and staff, implement curriculum, and uphold licensing and safety standards while participating in trainings and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Ability to obtain and maintain background clearances and health screenings.
• CDA is preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity and care.
• Greet children and families and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs.
• Support planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents as required.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies and classroom expectations.
• Adhere to Employee Handbook policies and participate in meetings and trainings.
