Job summary

Cadence Education in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations, implement Cadence Education programs, and help create a safe, nurturing environment for young children.

You will work under the School Director and Lead Teacher, emphasizing development across physical, social, emotional, and cognitive domains, while maintaining licensing compliance and building positive relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety standards and licensing rules.
• Work well in a classroom team and maintain professional relationships.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Support curriculum delivery and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate with families using approved tools.
• Follow safety and supervision policies and document incidents.
• Assist in behavior management per Cadence policies.
• Attend required meetings and trainings, possibly outside hours.
