Job summary

The Learning Experience - Medford in Medford, NY is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children learn through play. You will implement the LEAP curriculum and build strong relationships with families and colleagues.

You will communicate children's adventures and milestones through apps and discussions, contributing to a joyful, growth-focused early education environment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience; 1 year preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field, or CDA credential, or 9 college credits with a plan toward credentials, plus related experience.
• Infant/Toddler credentials or related infant/toddler track credentials with required experience.
• State licensing requirements may apply to the role.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
• Implement the LEAP curriculum using engaging characters to make learning fun.
• Build relationships with families and colleagues to foster a collaborative environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress through apps and personal discussions.
