Cadence Education in Marietta, GA is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities under the supervision of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment and support children’s development, including those with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher Assistant in a licensed childcare center.
• Prior early childhood or classroom experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.
• Flexibility with scheduling and shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment for every child.
• Greet children and families daily and help build professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Support staff with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Education programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and document accidents and incidents.
• Assist with managing and reporting escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development, which may occur outside regular hours.
