Acquire4Hire LLC in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support the classroom, assist the teacher with developmentally appropriate activities, and foster a safe, engaging learning environment for young children.

You will partner with families, encourage attendance and parent involvement, and collaborate with Head Start staff to ensure high-quality services and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience with young children in a Licensed Child Care Facility.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Criminal background check (fingerprint, etc.).
• Ability to pass college coursework and obtain a CDA (provided by employer).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assists with maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment using routines and effective classroom management.
• Assists in implementing developmentally appropriate learning activities to support growth.
• Supports parent involvement services per Parent Involvement/Education Plan.
• Provides transportation services for children and parents per Transportation Plan.
• Assists in providing social services per Family Services Plan.
• Demonstrates professional behaviors and completes assignments.

Education
