Job summary

The Learning Experience in Richmond, VA is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and engaging classroom where children can learn through play. You will implement our LEAP curriculum and build strong relationships with families and colleagues to support holistic growth.

Ideal candidates have a genuine love for teaching young children and either 1 year of experience or 6 months with the appropriate education.

Qualifications

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or 6 months (required).
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required).

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
• Implement the proprietary LEAP curriculum with engaging characters to make learning enjoyable.
• Build relationships with families and colleagues to foster a dynamic play-and-learn environment.
• Communicate with parents regularly about children’s progress via apps and discussions.

As a Preschool Teacher, you will:

• Be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
