Job summary

Treehouse Learning Center is seeking a nurturing PreSchool Teacher to enrich our team and provide top-tier educational and care experiences for preschool-aged children at our center. The role involves fostering a supportive and engaging environment, developing age-appropriate activities, and communicating progress to parents.

Strong communication and collaboration with staff are essential. The position requires a minimum of two years in an early childhood setting and EEC Teacher Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience working in an early childhood classroom.
• Good communication (oral and written) skills.
• Planning for Meaningful Early Childhood Curriculum.
• EEC Teacher Certification (Required)

Responsibilities

• Child Safety and Classroom Management: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all children through vigilant supervision. Maintain a clean and organized classroom to foster a conducive learning environment.
• Observation and Progress Tracking: Regularly observe the children to assess their developmental and learning progress, ensuring personalized support and interventions as needed.
• Teaching Assistant Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the Teaching Assistant to promote a team-driven and effective learning setting for the children.
• Professional Development Engagement: Actively participate in professional development opportunities, such as training sessions and educational workshops, to continually enhance your teaching skills and methodologies.
• Classroom Discipline and Basic Care: Establish and uphold classroom rules to ensure a disciplined yet nurturing environment. Attend to the basic needs of the children to keep them comfortable and ready to learn.
• Adaptive Teaching Strategies: Employ a variety of teaching methods and materials tailored to the diverse interests and learning styles of children. This includes planning and executing activities that are both engaging and educational.
