Job summary

The Goddard School located in The Greater Heights is seeking a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher for almost 3 year olds who will be older 3s by the time they leave the classroom. Join us to nurture curiosity, deliver a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and lead daily activities with a supportive team.

Starting salary is $37,570–$39,780, full-time year-round, with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• CDA preferred
• 2-3 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
• Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

• Foster a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching methods
• Observe and assess children's development and adjust activities accordingly
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment

Job Title: Lead Preschool Teacher (Almost 3 year olds that will be older 3's by the time they leave the classroom)

Position Schedule

Full Time/Year Round (Monday - Friday) - 7:30 - 5:00 or 8:30 - 6:00 (42.5 hours/week)

Starting Annual Salary

Starting Annual Salary: $ $37,570 - $39,780 (equivalent to 17 - 18 per hour)
