Job summary

Primrose School at West Carmel is seeking a Daycare Preschool Teacher to join our team. In this role you will create a nurturing classroom, implement age-appropriate lesson plans, and support young learners as they develop social and emotional skills.

You will use our Balanced Learning curriculum and digital platform, collaborate with families and staff, and grow with an on-site leadership team while enjoying a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
• Previous work with children preferred.
• CDA, Associates, or Bachelors degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.
