We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities
Support children’s social, emotional, language, and cognitive development
Observe and document children’s progress
Maintain positive communication with families
Work collaboratively with teachers and staff
Follow state licensing and health & safety requirements
Must be able to use CTELDs guide to plan weekly lesson plans
Must be able to use CTDOTs to do assessment
Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance while working with children and families. Visible facial piercings are not permitted during working hours and must be removed prior to the start of each shift.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
Problem-solving and mediation skills
