Job summary

The Gardner School of Blue Ash is hiring a Support Teacher to assist in our state-of-the-art preschool. You’ll engage children, support lead teachers during breaks, maintain classroom routines, and help uphold safety and licensing standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year in early childhood, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain, and knowledge of licensing requirements. We offer competitive pay ranging from $13.80 to $18.70 per hour, comprehensive benefits, paid time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1+ year experience in early childhood settings (required).
• CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meets all state-specific licensing and experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in meaningful interactions that support development.
• Step into classrooms to support Assistant Teachers during breaks or absences.
• Help maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and routine.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with teachers and leadership.
• Model a supportive and flexible team-oriented attitude.
• Supervise children and maintain safety standards.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and licensing regulations.
• Assist in maintaining child-to-staff ratios and completing classroom tasks.
