Job summary

C3 is seeking Substitute Preschool Teachers to join a caring ministry environment in Pennsylvania. You’ll step into different classrooms, follow established lesson plans, and help maintain a safe, engaging space for ages 2–6. This flexible, on-call role suits dependable teammates who value collaboration and a positive classroom culture.

Reports to the Preschool Director, Stacie Staniszewski. Hours vary by the 2026–2027 school year, with morning and afternoon shifts available.

Qualifications

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ and willingness to model Biblical priorities and the core values of C3.
• Successful completion of a C3-initiated background check.
• Experience working with young children in an educational, childcare, or ministry setting.
• Dependable and able to work scheduled substitute shifts as committed.
• Flexible and comfortable stepping into different classrooms, age groups, and routines.
• Ability to follow established lesson plans, classroom expectations, and preschool procedures.
• A positive, collaborative approach to working with teachers and preschool staff.

Substitute Teachers help maintain a safe, engaging, and consistent classroom environment by following established lesson plans, classroom routines, and teacher expectations. Ideal candidates are organized, adaptable, and excited to help children grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Required Hours: On-call/as needed; hours will vary. Morning and afternoon substitute opportunities are available.

Compensation: Minimum wage $17.13/hour
