Job summary

AHRC New York City is seeking a Preschool Speech Therapist (SLP) to support Francis of Paola ELC in Brooklyn, NY. The role is full-time, 8:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., 10-month program with a 30-day summer session.

The SLP will deliver speech-language pathology services aligned with students’ IEPs, collaborate with teachers and fellow therapists, and complete IEPs and progress reports. NY licensed SLP required, experience with autism preferred. Competitive salary package with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Speech Therapy required.
• New York State Licensed Speech Therapist required.
• Experience with students with autism required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language pathology services as per students' IEP.
• Provide consultation to Teachers of Speech and Language Disabilities and Clinical Fellows.
• Provide mandated speech-related services per IEP.
• Maintain session notes reflecting therapy activities.
• Assess students annually and provide progress and annual reports.
• Complete IEPs addressing communication needs and update as needed.
• Assist in acquiring assistive technology for students.
