  • Use songs, music, movement, stories, games, puppets, art, and hands-on activities to make learning Spanish fun.
  • Encourage children to participate in Spanish through repetition, conversation, and positive reinforcement.
  • Incorporate Spanish naturally into classroom routines such as greetings, clean-up, transitions, meals, and play.
  • Introduce children to age-appropriate Spanish-speaking cultures, traditions, music, and celebrations.
  • Adapt activities to meet the different developmental levels and learning abilities of children.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming, and positive classroom environment.
  • Supervise children at all times and follow all center health and safety policies.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and other teachers.
  • Communicate appropriately with parents and staff regarding children's participation and progress.
  • Work cooperatively with classroom teachers and center administration.
  • Maintain appropriate classroom records and lesson plans as required.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required.
  • Follow all applicable state childcare licensing regulations and center policies.

Position Summary
