Job summary

Carrington Academy Windermere seeks a Preschool Principal to guide a high-performing team and build strong family partnerships while ensuring Georgia licensing compliance and educational excellence.

You will lead and develop staff, foster a culture of care for children and families, and drive ongoing growth and quality improvements across the school.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Meet one of the education/experience paths listed (CDA with childcare exp; ECE-related certificates with exp; higher ed degree with exp; or a non-ECE degree with childcare exp).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• In addition, candidates must meet at least one of the following education and experience requirements:
• An awarded Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and a minimum of six (6) months of childcare experience; or
• An awarded Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development, Infant and Toddler, Program Administration, or School Age and Youth Care; or a Technical College Diploma (TCD) in ECE or Child Development, and a minimum of six (6) months of childcare experience; or
• An Associate degree or higher (including a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D.) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and a minimum of six (6) months of childcare experience; or
• A Bachelor’s degree in a field other than Early Childhood Education or Child Development and a minimum of three (3) months of childcare experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain all required clearances, certifications, and ongoing professional development as required by Georgia regulations.
