Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a Principal for Audubon, PA, to lead a newly renovated school and guide growth, innovation, and educational excellence across the community. You will build a strong team, partner with families, and support staff to create an environment where children thrive.

The role requires PA DHS director qualifications and a track record in leadership, with a focus on enrollment growth, compliance, and high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Must meet Pennsylvania Child Care Center Director qualifications as outlined by PA DHS.
• Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a licensed childcare center or similar program.
• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Must meet Pennsylvania Child Care Center Director qualifications as outlined by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations.
• Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education program.
• Thorough knowledge of Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in early childhood education.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, manage daily center operations, support staff performance, and foster a positive learning environment.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Pennsylvania Keystone STARS, accreditation programs (NAEYC, COA, or similar), or other continuous quality improvement initiatives preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain all required clearances, certifications, and ongoing professional development as required by Pennsylvania regulations.
