Job summary

Kidtastic Kids Preschool is seeking a compassionate pediatric physical therapist to provide school-based therapy for preschool children with developmental delays. This per diem role runs 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

on-site, with sessions delivered in accordance with each student’s IEP and school-day routines. You will collaborate with teachers and families to implement motor-skills interventions, document progress, and ensure compliance with state standards.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.
• Experience working with preschool children in school-based settings is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group physical therapy services to preschool-aged children.
• Develop and implement therapy interventions aligned with student IEP goals.
• Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments as assigned.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state regulations and professional standards.
