Job summary

Summit Cove Elementary in Dillon, Colorado seeks a .78 Preschool Paraprofessional for SY26-27 starting Oct 5th, 31 hours per week. You will support preschool instruction under the Preschool Director, assisting with small groups, large groups and individual work for at-risk, special needs and typical children.

Qualifications

• Must hold a minimum of an associate's degree.
• Experience caring for 3-5 year olds.
• TB test and physical exam required within 6 weeks of employment.
• Must meet No Child Left Behind Act qualification criteria.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preschool children during activities and transitions.
• Assist with safety monitoring and equipment checks.
• Communicate information about day and development to parents.
• Implement curriculum set by Preschool Director/Teacher.
• Support with small groups, large groups and individual instruction.
• Assist with projects, snacks, cleanup and routine tasks.
• Support medically fragile students and assist with feeding when needed.
• Prepare materials and assist with drills and emergency procedures.
