Job summary

Twin Rivers Unified School District is seeking an ECE Paraeducator to support preschool students at Northwood. This 4-hour/day position supports teachers in education, care, supervision, and play-based learning across classrooms and play areas.

The role requires a high school diploma with 6 ECE units and may ask for 48 college credits or a competency test; CPR/First Aid certification is expected. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and employee life insurance for staff working 4+ hours

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma and 6 ECE units or related field with infant to pre-school age focus.
• Requires successful completion of at least 48 college credit units or passage of a competency assessment.
• One year of preschool age enrichment program or child care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Early Childhood teachers in education, care, supervision, and instruction of preschool children.
• Maintain and prepare classroom and related environments and materials.
• Assist in developing play-oriented curriculum.

Education

High School diploma

6 college units of Early Childhood Development/ECE or related field

48 college credits or competency assessment

One year of preschool age enrichment program experience (preferred)
