Merryhill School in Las Vegas seeks a Preschool Multi-Classroom Teacher to nurture young learners across multiple classrooms. You will support teachers, lead when needed, and ensure a safe, engaging environment that supports literacy, math thinking, and social-emotional growth through purposeful play.

Role requires adaptability, collaboration with staff and strong communication with families, while maintaining program quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 sem. units or 18 qtr. units in early childhood education or a bachelor’s in Child Development.
• CDA credential preferred.
• Experience with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple classrooms and age groups.
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of caring for young children.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple preschool classrooms based on daily staffing and program needs.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Step into a lead teaching role when needed to maintain routines.
• Foster early literacy, language, math thinking, motor and social-emotional growth.
• Create a warm, engaging learning environment encouraging curiosity and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and leadership to support program goals.
• Assist with classroom management and positive behavior guidance.
• Supervise students and ensure safety in all school settings.
• Maintain clean, organized, engaging spaces; communicate with families.
