Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in small group instruction and tutor students per teacher request.
• Prepare instructional materials and activities and set up classroom spaces.
• Assist with pre- and post-testing of standardized tests.
• Maintain classroom displays and keep work areas orderly.
• Supervise students and ensure safety and discipline as directed by the teacher.
• Attend meetings and participate in professional development as required.
